Dear Friend and Fellow Republican,

This is it. The Democrats have already endorsed their nominee for Attorney General and now we must determine which Republican best matches up against their candidate. We need to get this right to ensure we retain Republican control of the Attorney General’s office.

I have been campaigning for the Republican nomination for Attorney General for over a year and it has been amazing journey meeting with so many of my long time friends at local GOP events, Lincoln Day Dinners and other gatherings in all corners of Michigan. As I write you today, our campaign continues to grow and we are stronger and more energized than ever.

Today, I ask each and every one of you to take another look at our Republican candidates because it is my belief that one of us sticks out as a stronger, more electable candidate in November. As your Attorney General nominee, I will bring much-needed experience in the practice of law, a broad background in business, legislative leadership and hands-on experience fighting for families and our Constitution.

Last month I was the only GOP candidate to participate in a candidate forum with David Leyton, the Democratic nominee for Attorney General. Like me, Mr. Leyton has broad experience in the private sector and as a prosecutor. We cannot underestimate his candidacy. It is absolutely essential that we nominate the strongest candidate in order to win. I have spent years battling government bureaucrats, and I am a known statewide figure as Senate Majority Leader, combined with my experience as a litigator, I am the best candidate and I WILL WIN IN NOVEMBER!
